A very urban mix of Reebok OG sneakers with New York graffiti culture in this pack of shoes by Keith Haring.
Keith Haring, for those who don't know him, is an artist from the end of the last century who practiced street art. His drawings were born in New York underground culture, more precisely on the sidewalks of the East Village in the 80s, then toured the planet. Simple shapes outlined in black with areas of bright colors, this is what characterizes the work of Keith Haring, just like the pop culture of those years.
This Reebok collection reflects Haring's "Art for All" philosophy, the idea that anyone can participate and access art. It includes 5 iconic models from the 80s, enhanced with “pop art” accents in the image of the artist.
The pattern on the heel depicts a dog and a human and symbolizes power and authority in society. Primary colors evoke Haring's aesthetic.
Its design pays homage to Haring's Pop Shop located on Lafayette Street in New York, with an original all-over print reminiscent of the store's walls. Print also represents the idea that anyone can participate and access art.
